Delhi University to release first list of vacant seats on August 7

Today, August 7, Delhi University (DU) will release the first list of vacant seats for students still seeking admission to its affiliated colleges. Those who applied to DU can check the available seats on the official websites, du.ac.in and admission.uod.ac.in.

The window to re-order higher preferences for seats will open from 5 pm on August 7 until 4:59 pm on August 8. Following this, the second DU CSAS allocation list will be published on August 10, and candidates will have until August 13 to accept the college they are allocated. Payment against the second list can be made until August 15. Subsequently, on August 17, Delhi University will release another list of vacant seats, and the third merit list will be available on August 22.

Earlier on August 1, Delhi University had announced the first seat allocation list for undergraduate admissions, with 85,853 students being allotted seats in the first round.

DU offers a total of 71,000 undergraduate seats across 78 programs and 198 BA (Bachelor of Arts) degree combinations spread across 68 colleges. Students have various options to explore within the university’s diverse academic offerings.
