The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam dates for the SSC CPO 2023 exam. The Paper 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from October 3 to 6, 2023. The notification for the exam will be released on July 20, 2023, and the application form will be available from July 20 to August 13, 2023.

To be eligible for the SSC CPO exam, candidates must be between 20 and 25 years of age. Departmental candidates who are Constables, Head Constables, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police with a minimum of three years of service and not over 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply for open and departmental vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male.

How to fill out SSC CPO Application Form 2023?

To fill out the SSC CPO Application Form 2023, candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of SSC.
  2. Click on the “Apply” button for the SSC CPO exam.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2023

To be eligible for the SSC CPO 2023 exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Nationality:

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals, or
  • Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan who possess a certificate issued by the Indian Government, or

  • Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years is provided to SC/ST candidates and three years to OBC and Ex-Servicemen categories.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2023

The selection process of SSC CPO for 2023 is as follows:

  1. SSC CPO Application Form: Candidates need to fill out the SSC CPO application form online and pay the application fees of INR 100 either online or offline. SC, ST, women, and ESM candidates are exempted from fee payment.

SSC CPO Syllabus 2023

The syllabus for SSC CPO 2023 includes topics from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.

  • In the General Intelligence and Reasoning section, questions are asked from topics like analogies, similarities and differences, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, visual memory, discrimination, observation, arithmetical reasoning, figural classification, etc.

Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST):

b. PST: This test evaluates the physical standards of the candidates, including height, chest measurements (for male candidates), and weight.

Paper-II:
