If a candidate forgets their registration number, they can follow the steps below to regenerate their registration number:

Step 1: Visit the official website – upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the Admit Card link available on the Home page

Step 3: Read the instructions given on the page and click on the Yes button.

Step 4: Click on the link, “Forgot RID’

Step 5: Enter the following details:

  • Name
  • Father’s name
  • Mother’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Captcha code as shown on the screen

Step 6: Click on Submit.

Upon clicking the button, a registration ID will be re-generated.
